As a leading oil producer, the Oklahoma-based company, that tightly collaborates with thousands of employees, subcontractors, assigns, legal representatives and investors, needs to deal with millions of documents in an efficient, transparent and with State Law and regulatory procedures compliant way.
Each time, Continental Resources is onboarding a new investor, a document package needs to be created, delivered to the investor, filled out, delivered back to Continental, processed internally and delivered to corresponding government institutions. Each investor is being informed about where Continental is in the process. This is usually done by sending the investors a legal notice, which contains specific information on their surface and/or mineral interest. Each month the investors get a personalized report. All of the business communications are done via mail and email.
Manually dealing with this giant amount of communications is not only complicated and time-consuming, but also error-prone. Therefore, after a long evaluation process, the company decided to implement OpenText ECM and CCM solutions, and turned to Ecodocx for help. Since then, both companies successfully collaborate on a project-by-project (installation, upgrade, professional services, training) basis in both onsite and remote models.
